Hey everyone, just a few notes before we get on with this week’s content:

Office Hours coming up!

Our next Office Hours Zoom call is coming up two weeks from today!

Wednesday, March 26 from 4-5 p.m. Pacific Time (7-8 p.m. ET)

If you’d like to be on a Zoom call once a month with me and other broadcasters, simply click Subscribe and sign up at the Office Hours level, and I’ll send you a Zoom link before each meeting.

PXPU Community Building through Substack Chat

Members will also now have the ability to communicate with me and with one another through the chat function on Substack. I will be sending an email out later this week launching the platform, but it essentially will act like a message board.

Any paid subscriber at any level can post questions, comments or topics for the entire community to discuss, and it will be live 24/7. Additionally, the chat function will have extra features that are available through the Substack app, so download the app to get alerts and have easier access to our official PXPU message board.

This week’s lesson

Tournament basketball is here, and if you're lucky enough to be broadcasting some postseason games, here are a few things to keep in mind. Of course, it's not lost on me that many teams' seasons are over at this point. In fact, some states have already had their high school state championships, so if you're not able to put this into practice this year, bookmark this and come back to refer to it the next time you find yourself broadcasting games in tournament play.

Everything we've talked about over the last few weeks when it comes to broadcasting basketball still applies. You don't stop doing any of those things, but there are eight things that you need to add in a tournament setting, and those are the things I want to talk to you about today.
