Spotting Boards 120: placing a phonetic offensive roster on your board

A two-deep is rarely good enough for your spotting board, especially in college football

A note to subscribers, we have replaced the videos in Spotting Boards 117 and 118 to provide a higher-quality video that also includes a couple of steps we accidentally skipped in the making of the previous videos. You may want to go back and rewatch 117 and 118 before continuing with 119 and beyond, if you are building your boards step-by-step with us. If not, feel free to disregard.

Also, there will be no content released from Monday, October 21 through Wednesday, October 23 of this upcoming week as I spend some family time ahead of a very busy football-basketball crossover season in November. We’ll have a great podcast coming up on Thursday, October 24 and we’ll pick up from there, but wanted to make sure you all knew what to expect ahead of time.

Today, we take a look at how to build a phonetic roster and place it on your spotting board as a way to reference any player’s name, number and position, even if they aren’t on the two deep.
